Vegetation

Vegetation
is a general term for the plant life of a region; it refers to the ground cover provided by plants, and is, by far, the most abundant biotic element of the biosphere. The term vegetation does not, by itself, imply anything regarding species composition, life forms, structure, spatial extent or any other specific botanical or geographic characteristics. It is broader than the term flora which refers exclusively to species composition.

Perhaps the closest synonym is plant community, but vegetation can, and often does, refer to a wider range of spatial scales. Primeval redwood forests, coastal mangrove stands, sphagnum bogs, desert soil crusts, roadside weed patches, wheat fields, cultivated gardens and lawns; are all encompassed by the term vegetation.

In tropical climate, there would be many palm trees or plants that grow on humid moisture. In dry climate, there would be only few plants, except in the savannas, in savannas, there are few grass plains and forests. In deserts, there would only be a few, like cactus and tumbleweed.
In temperate climate, there would be shrubs, grass plains, and weed. In continental climate, there would be mostly dead trees and a few pine trees. Finally, in polar climate, there is no vegetation in all. This is what I think of all vegetation in all five climate zones.

The vegetation of the temperate region would be some grass and trees. The vegetation of the continental region is dead trees and plants because it's cold in the winters and not as hot in the summers. the five climate zones are Tropical,Dry, Temperate, Cold and Polar. In the Tropical zone I think that there would be allot of trees like palm trees or Banana trees. In the dry climate i think that there would be allot of cactus's and plants that you would find in the desert. I think that in the Temperate Climate the vegetation is going to be a combination of plants that like the cold and in the sun. So probably you would find Oak trees or Palm trees.I think that the vegetation in the cold climate zone you find trees that you find in the snow or a place that is really cold like Oak trees and in the Polar climate zone you would hardly find any vegetation at all.

I thunk that vegetation is good for the Earth. It helps rain fall and make water come down and make plants grow. Also the good part of this is plants grow and grass grows and then Animals could not Die. It helps the rivers get more water and the animals who live in the forest could drink water from the river. Also the animals cold eat whatever grass or plant sthe find.

In a arid's regions thre won't be so much vegetation either because Is really dry and plants need water to survive. In a Temperate's regions, they would have vegetation because is more humid and they do get water and plant do grow. In a surb continental I think they do have vegetation because i think that they get enough rain to grow some vegetation. In a tropical regions they do have a lot f vegetation. They have a lot of trees. They get enough rain to grow they're plants and most of their regions is have plenty of trees with fruits.

The vegetation of arid(dry) is sunny and hot and the cactus store water for long time, but animals eats cactus has food and drink water and make shelter too!! The vegetation of temperate is trees and lawns and rain sometimes a week and has HOT summers, but not too cold winters!! The vegetation of continental is cold winters and hot summers and I think it has a lot of forests. The vegetation of humid and subtratic continental is soooo HOT in summer and cold in winter(humid)!!! Is soooooo COLD in winter and hot summers(subtratic)!!!! Thats the vegetation of the climates.

The polar region will not have any vegetation it is to cold. In the arid or dry region there would probably be cacti because they dont need much water. In the temperate region there would be a lot of plants because there is sunlight and it is very moist. In sub-continental they have a lot of rainfall so plants would get plenty of the water they need. In the tropical regions there is nothing but vegetation because it is all one big forest, this is because it is very moist and the plants love it.

Arid(dry) climateis near to the equator as well, it recieves only 25% of rain each year. Next is temperate climate, that climates temperature is kind of in the middle. Then there is subartic climate, it is found near the further to the east. Finally, the polar climate it is located near the Artic. The type of vegetation that is located near the 5 climate zones should be oak trees, palm trees, grass, and different kinds of flowers. You would find these vegetation in beaches and forests.

Savanah- A slightly below-average vegetation area.
Polar- Barely any vegetation at all, some places even don't have polar vegetation.
Tropical- Completely full of vegetation and vegetation everywhere you can look.
Temperate- A normal amount of vegetation, not much to say about it.

There are 5 different kinds of climates. The first climate is the tropical climate, it is closer to the equator.

I think the vegetation would be near the a Forest. So allot of rain will give it water to the plants. And so they can grow alot better so the plant can be healthy.

I think that the vegetation is in the rain forest. Its good if the forest get water then it gives health to the vegetation so that they are able to grow and stay alive.

Vegetation are plants. Its not just one plant, its every plant in that part. Its oak trees, leaves, weeds, etc. Vegetation is very important to our daily life because we make medicine out of them and some animals don't eat meat so they eat plants.
