Before 1970, women's history was rarely the subject of serious study. Mary Katherine Goddard was the first woman postmaster, Betsy Rosy was the person to be a U.S flag maker, Hannah Adams was the first woman to become a professional writer, Lucy Brewer was the first woman to become a marine, Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman to receive a medical degree, and some many others. Madeleine K. Albright was the first woman secretary of state and highest rank woman in the U.S government. Each march, the country celebrates the accomplishments of woman in American history. On march 19, 1911 a German woman named Klara Zetkin organized the very first international woman's day.

There are some many important women in history but Rosa Parks is my favorite because she is very important is it wasn't for her the bus laws would be the same way it was before she risked going to jail and because of that she was rewarded for what she did.

The most important woman that I know would have to be Rosa Parks because she refused to give up her seat and give it to a white person and then she would have to go sit in the back.

Mai Jemison was one of the first women to join NASA and to go into space. She was a doctor inside the rocket. Plus if you read a interview of her she would say she had a blast. Plus she loved how she could float in the rocket. That is all I know about Mai Jemison.
