The tundra is a very snowy, and cold place. Geography there are just snowy and plains, and couple of mountains. Animals there are animals like, snow foxes, polar bears, penguins, cold-water fish, walruses, seals, and whales. There is no vegetation in the tundra except for a few trees. Climate is always cold day and night, in fact, the highest temperature in the tundra ever record is only -3 degrees Farenheit. This is what the tundra is.

The tundra is cold. It snows there. It is located in the Sub-Arctic region. It is cold at nights and cold at days. It is windy and it snows. Some animals that live there are polar bears and foxes and walruses. There is no vegetation to eat because there is ice and no soil. The animals that live there eat each other.

Tundra are among Earth's coldest, harshest biomes. Tundras ecosystems are treeless regions found in the Arctic and on the tops of mountains, where the climate is cold and windy and rainfall is scant. Tundra lands are snow-covered for much of the year, until summer brings a burst of wildflowers. The animals that live in the tundra are Arctic Fox,Caribou,Ermine,Grizzly Bear,Harlequin Duck, and Musk Ox.

The geography of the Tundra would have snow and ice, and it has some glaciers. The animals that live there would be bears, deer, snow owls and foxes, flies, and other animals that could live in the snow. The climate would be cold because of the snow and ice that is there. The vegetation in the Tundra would be plants that the animals might find in the snow or in a city.

The tundra's geography is very flat in some ares and can have a lot of mountains in other areas. The animals live off plants that only live about 7-8 months a year and some animals are polar bears, deers, arctic frost, hair, and caribou. Most plants that live here are moss and other weeds that are very fragile and car tracks that are left there can be there for 30 years. The tundra climate is very cold and wet and most animals have to be adapted.

There are three types of tundra. There is the arctic tundra, the antarctic tundra and the alpine tundra. The arctic tundra is found in the north part of the world, on the coast. The geography of these are snow and the vegetation is like ponds and plants. The animals you would find is like polar bears, wolves, birds, hares, and many others.

Abe said...

For geography of the tundra are arctic plains that are dominated by sedge, heath, willow, and lichen. They are found in most of the earth's northern terrain. Another type of tundra is the alpine tundra. This type of tundra occurs above the timberline in the high mountains of the world. The Antarctic has a few areas of tundra as well. Tundra has a distribution throughout the northern hemisphere, but in the southern hemisphere it is only found on the Antarctic Peninsula and surrounding islands.
Plant life in the tundra is few, and the growth is low. The growing season is short so the plants can't grow tall. This is the reason why trees are so scarce, and the trees that exist are short.
The climate of the tundra is very cold all year-round, there is not much to the climate of the extremely clod tundra
The animals that live in the tundra manage living in the environment because of their fur. Some of theese animals are the Arctic fox, Musk ox, Polar bear, and the grizzly bear.

In the very cold places of the world, survival isn't easy. The soil is frozen, its top surface thawing only during summer, and no trees can grow. Still plants and animals that have adapted to the harsh conditions live. This ecosystem is called the tundra. Most of the world's tundra is found in the Arctic. There is a small amount of tundra on parts of Antarctica that are not covered with ice. Also tundra is found on mountains at high altitudes and is called alpine tundra. Permafrost is the term given to frozen soil. During the winter months, permafrost reaches the surface of the tundra. It is very cold during the winter, with temperatures reaching -60 degrees F. Well, in the summer time, the tundra changes. The Sun is out almost 24 hours a day, so the tundra starts to warm up. The permafrost melts at the surface, and plant life grows. However, the permafrost only disappears for a few inches below the surface. There isn't enough soil for trees to grow, so only small plants are found in the tundra.

Animals can live in this very cold place because they either have thick coats to keep them warm and plus they can get the food they need under the ice or on top of the ice.
